TIPS:

1. We are looking for high-concept, original work, and value creativity above all else. We welcome experimental work that plays with literary conventions, and work that combines or cuts across genres.

2. We value quality prose. We love writers with strong, unique voices.

3. Solar Press is a publisher catering to an adult audience. We are not looking for YA, middlegrade, or children's fiction. We are also not currently looking for historical fiction, romantasy, or current events nonfiction.

4. We are particularly interested in science-fiction, horror, LGBT interest fiction, philosophy, occult nonfiction, and historical nonfiction which covers overlooked/forgotten moments, people, groups, and/or movements.
